You’ll learn to work in and shape the field of energy, 环境, and sustainability law. The concentration will provide you with a robust opportunity to discern the applicable laws and regulatory regimes in the area and consider policy issues through research and written work. Classes are taught by professors with real-world experience and an expertise on the subject. By the time you leave, you will with an understanding of tax law, 反托拉斯法, and administrative law, and how they play a major role in how major entities operate. You will also understand the 环境 law landscape both for compliance purposes and so you can anticipate financial risk for energy companies. These main concepts important for this concentration can translate easily into other areas of law and policy, 太.

To complete your EES concentration, you must have satisfactorily completed (1) all required first-year courses; (2) all mandatory core courses; and (3) a total of at least eighteen (18) total credit hours of designative elective courses and the experiential learning options (described below).
The EES Concentration requires three (3) mandatory courses:

- Environmental and Natural 资源 Law (Law 349)
- Administrative Law (Law 307)
You may select additional courses in energy, 环境, and sustainability law from the list of designated elected courses set forth in the concentration guidelines listed below .
While enrolled in the EES Concentration you must also complete ten (10) hours of related extracurricular or co-curricular activities, such as active participation in the local or national student groups, attending relevant meetings, 听证会或演讲者, administrative or other active participation in the energy, 环境, and sustainability law related events (e.g., moot court, symposia).
